Dance of the dead is performed during Thisham festival celebration. This dance is the final ritual performed by the family for the dead. They collect huge quantities of wood for fire and there is a lot of singing and dancing during the feast. During Thisham celebration folk dance, folk song and rituals is performed to chase out the spirit from the living and thus sending the dead spirit to kazeiram.
